The Bluetooth daughter board is designed to add a Bluetooth connection to a sensor node. This enables it to communicate with devices on a bluetooth network, with a smart phone for instance. This board is based on a Bluetooth – serial bridge of National Instrument, the LMX9838.
Features:
- Bluetooth capability (LMX9838)
- up to 7 links ;
- SPP, SDAP, GAP ;
- UART speed up to 921.6kbits/s ;
- Avanced Audio Interface for PCM codec
Mapping:
LMX9838 is a Bluetooth – serial bridge and can be used with the UART1 of WSN430. An hardware flow control is necessary to use LMX8938 in command mode.

All daughter boards have been developed within the SensTOOLS project funded by INRIA.
